In late November 2001, the CBS television network aired a two-hour special in honor of Michael Jackson’s thirtieth year as a solo entertainer (his first solo single, “Got to Be There”, was recorded in 1971). The show was edited from footage of two separate concerts Michael had orchestrated in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 7 and September 10 of 2001. The shows sold out in five hours. Ticket prices were pop’s most expensive ever; the best seats cost $5,000 and included a dinner with Michael Jackson and a signed poster. Jackson reportedly earned $7.5 million for each of the two concerts, which is over $150,000 per minute.

I STRONGLY DON’T agree with some comments expressed in the video about Michael.

The documentary didn’t do justice to Michael who is an exceptional humanitarian, great dad, captivating performer, beautiful person inside out, the poster child of innocence, pure love, magic, Heaven.

MJ shared his bed with his brothers in his teen years, to him this is normal & he had no bad intentions with children around him. His pure & innocent love towards children is SIMPLY MISUNDERSTOOD in this tarnished world. He loved animals, man, women, old, young, black, white too but media needed a story that sells and MICHAEL WAS AN EASY TARGET.

I agree with Elizabeth Taylor who said:

“HE’S THE LEAST WEIRD MAN I’VE EVER KNOWN, IF HE HAS ANY ECCENTRICITIES, IT’S B/C HE’S LARGER THAN LIFE & SOME PEOPLE CAN’T GET THAT” (Elizabeth Taylor)

25th anniversary of Thriller album, has revealed his days of dancing are behind him – because he doesn’t want to kill himself on stage like his hero, soul singer James Brown, who died On December 25th 2006 from congestive heart failure. When asked if he thinks he’ll grow old in the music industry, Michael, 49, explained: “Not the way James Brown did or Jackie Wilson did. “They just kept going, running, killing themselves. “I wish he (James Brown) could have slowed down and relaxed and enjoyed his hard work. [1] Pencilled in for release in 2008, Jackson unveiled the plans for the album during a rare interview with Ebony Magazine. Despite admitting that he was working on new material, Jackson said that he has no plans to extend his career into old age, like other artists. “Not the way James Brown or Jackie Wilson did, where they just killed themselves,” Jackson admitted. “I wish James Brown could have slowed down and been more relaxed and enjoyed his hard work.”[2] Every neighbourhood has the guy who you don’t see, so you gossip about him,” Jackson told Ebony magazine. Jackson, 49, also revealed he doesn’t plan to keep performing for the rest of his life. “Not the way James Brown or Jackie Wilson did, where they just killed themselves. I wish James Brown could have slowed down and been more relaxed and enjoyed his hard work.”[3]

Quincy Jones and Steven Spielberg call Jackson “Smelly” in honor of the word MJ ”’ who doesn’t swear much ”’ substitutes for profanity. Michael Jackson released Dangerous in 1991, and to me, it was one of his most creative efforts, from the music itself to the groundbreaking short films, even the performances. What is Vitiligo
Vitiligo (vit-ill-EYE-go) is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, milky white patches (depigmentation) appear on the skin in different parts of the body.

How Is Vitiligo Diagnosed?
The diagnosis of vitiligo is made based on a physical examination,
medical history, biopsy of skin tissue and other laboratory tests.

During court depositions in 1994, Michael Jackson’s dermatologist
Dr. Arnold Klein presented lab tests, legal medical documents and
testified that in 1984, Michael was diagnosed with both vitiligo and
a form of lupus which also causes skin disoloration

Any part of your body may be affected by vitiligo, depigmentation usually develops first on sun-exposed areas of your skin, such as your hands, feet, arms, face and lips. Although it can start at any age, vitiligo often first appears between the ages of 20 and 30. About 0.5 to 1 percent of the world’s population, or as many as 65 million people, have vitiligo. In the United States, 1 to 2 million people have the disorder. Vitiligo may also be hereditary; that is, it can run in families but MOST people diagnosed with vitiligo do NOT have a family history of the disorder.

How does Vitiligo effect people?
While vitiligo is usually not harmful medically, its emotional and psychological effects can be devastating. People with vitiligo can experience emotional stress, particularly if the
condition develops on visible areas of the body . Some people who have vitiligo feel
embarrassed, depressed, or worried about how others will react. .Since Vitiligo is so noticeable and embarrassing to some patients, special cosmetics are great to conceal the lotches and create evenness of skin tone.

Vitiligo generally appears in one of three (3) patterns:

1. Focal. Depigmentation is limited to one or a few areas of your body.

2. Segmental. Loss of skin color occurs on only one side of your body.

3. Generalized.

For some people, vitiligo spreads slowly, over many years.
For other people, spreading occurs rapidly. additional depigmentation

Vitiligo Treatments
There is no cure for vitiligo. The main goal of treating vitiligo is to restore the function of the skin and improve the patient’s appearance.. The choice of therapy depends on the

skin on the body to match the areas that are already white.

Instead it works by inhibiting the skins pigment-producing cells, or melanocytes, which lie deep in the skin.The procedure does NOT change ones race or character it is mearly a way for those who suffer from this disorder to even out their skin tone and take back some control over an incurable skin disorder.
